Australian Paper’s manufacturing plants are operated with a commitment to reducing our impact on the environment and the communities around us. The paper mill recycles large volumes of water and utilises world class water and effluent treatment processes, while all operations continually seek innovative methods to improve energy efficiency and reduce waste to landfill through recovery and recycling.
Our manufacturing plants hold AS/ISO 9001 Quality Management certification and both paper mills hold AS/ISO 14001 Environmental Management certification.
Encouraging a sustainable supply chain, Australian Paper also holds dual multi-site certifications for both Australian Forestry Standard and FSC® Chain of Custody.
Maryvale Mill is located in the heart of Gippsland, Victoria, 160 kilometres east of Melbourne. The mill was built in 1937 and has been upgraded periodically over the years to improve efficiency and environmental performance, and responding to customer needs with continuous product improvement.
Located in Preston in the northern suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria, our Preston manufacturing facility is the largest envelopes and stationery manufacturer in Australia.
